When you book with me, you can be sure that your baby is in great hands. I have attending dozens of photography conferences and have learned how to handle newborns safely. We take our time with your session and it is very relaxed. If baby needs to feed or take a break, we do! Your baby is well taken care of and you get to sit back, relax, and watch me make magic!

The Newborn Experience
As a mom of three, trust me when I say time flies. I love the saying, "the days are long, but the years are short". Before you know it, your little baby's features are going to change and they won't fit in your arms like this any longer. Lets capture these moments so you can always look back and remember their little toes, whispy hair, and little rolls.
Every session starts with a questionnaire about your session, you tell me what you'd like from your session, and that is when the planning gets going! Every detail is put into your session so its is stress free for you. I want you to be able to sit back, relax, and watch me photograph your precious baby.
You have full access to all my props, hats, headbands, outfits, and accessories. No need to bring anything unless it is special to you. Newborns are typically photographed between 10-20 days but give or take is totally fine!

Congratulations mama!! Send me a message and lets chat! I want to know all about you, when you are due (if you haven't had baby yet), how you are feeling, baby's name, etc.
Reach out and we can discuss what you want from your session, the colors you love, and more. If you haven't had baby yet, we will put your due date on the calendar and you let me know when the baby is born. If you already had baby, we will schedule the session between 10-20 days new, but give or take is fine. We can get beautiful pictures at any age. The fun is just starting!
1. Say Hello
Yay! Lets book your session!
The process is super simple. Once you decide you want to book, I will send you over the contract and session retainer, once that is completed, you are booked!
If you haven't had the baby yet, I will put your due date on the calendar and we will schedule the real date once you have the baby. I only schedule so many sessions each month to ensure I have time for babies due early or late. If your baby is already born, we will schedule the session within 10-20 days of the baby's birth date.
2. Schedule it
About a week before your session, I will send you a questionnaire that ask some questions about your preferences. Here you are welcome to add in a collage of images from MY instagram that you love.
You are welcome to message me at any time with any questions you may have. I am here for you!
3. Planning it
It is session day!!! I am so excited to photograph your sweet new baby!
During your session, you get to sit back and relax. Some people have even been known to take a nap! I have small snacks for you to enjoy, sample products to check out, and I will take care of all things baby!
I create a nice, warm, calm atmosphere for your baby (and you) to enjoy. Depending on the baby (every baby is different) your session can last anywhere from 1.5-2.5 hours.
4. Your Session
Yay!! Within 1-2 weeks, you will receive a link to view your edited images. After you've viewed your images and wiped away your happy tears, you will choose your collection, digitals, or a la carte items.

5. Your Photographs

I found Candice on Yelp. I was impressed with her artwork and reached out to her with a last minute booking, as my daughter was already two weeks old and it was the holiday season. Like many parents, I made the assumption of thinking I can do the newborn photos myself. I was so wrong - and I'm a professional photographer myself. It takes a true master of their craft to create newborn photos and Candice is that person. She made the experience convenient from beginning to end. She provides a questionnaire to better gauge her clients expectations and vision for the photo shoot and practically takes the driver seat during the photoshoot with and without the camera. As first time parents, it was nice to sit back and let Candice do what she does best. Post production (editing) was fast and the photos were amazing and high quality resolution. My wife and I were extremely satisfied (we cried) with the photos and customer service. Professional photography is a luxury. It's expected to spend money. Candice is worth it.

We did our new born photos with Candice. I am so so impressed with her studio and the way she handled my baby. She made sure the environment was perfect for a newborn. It was so relaxing and comforting, my baby loved it. She was so great with my baby as well, she changed him into outfits so quickly, and let me take my time feeding him.
